Making his Dodger debut, right-hander Zack Greinke pitched two scoreless innings in Sunday’s game against the Chicago White Sox in a game which ended in a 2-2- tie.

Greinke was followed by left-hander Hyun-jin Ryu, who also allowed only 1 hit and struck out one in his one inning on the hill, giving every indication that both pitchers will fill in nicely behind Dodger ace Clayton Kershaw in the Dodgers rotation.

Steven Ames, Matt Magill, Josh Wall, Matt Palmer and Juan Abreu also turned in scoreless performances. In fact, the only Dodger pitcher who struggled was Peter Moylan who gave up 2 runs on 2 hits and allowed 2 walks. One of the hit was a monster opposite field home run to left field by Adam Dunn.

Dodgers third baseman Luis Cruz picked up the first Dodger home run of the spring with Hanley Ramirez knocking in the Dodgers second run on a sharp single to right field. Unfortunately, Ramirez was thrown out at first base after rounding the bag too far to end a potential rally inning.

Game three of the spring season will take place on Monday at Camelback Ranch against the Chicago Cubs with Chad Billingsley making his first appearance since being shut down last August with an injured his right elbow

Monday’s game will be televised on Prime Ticket, with Vin Scully making his debut behind the microphone.
