Kind of weird to make this announcement at this moment. It may be no reason for the tickets to go on sale if we don’t win tonight. It gives me an awkward feeling, which I can’t explain.

Leave it to you to put a negative slant on a positive thing, Joe.

Planning for a possible World Series is a monumental undertaking that includes things like notifying several thousand employees to plan accordingly, preparing orders for millions of dollars in concession and merchandise items and printing and mailing tickets (to name only a few). Teams cannot wait until the LCS’s are completed to get ready for a possible World Series at their respective ballparks.

By the way – I posted this as a courtesy to those who may want to purchase World Series tickets which, unless I’m mistaken, does not include you.
