Turner, Jansen to address media today at 1:30 pm (PT)

Shortly after Tuesday’s much anticipated and long awaited announcement that free agent closer Kenley Jansen had officially re-signed with the Dodgers (to the tune of five-years / $80 million), the team also announced that they would hold a press conference on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 pm (PT) from Dodger Stadium that will also include recently re-signed Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner (to a four-year / $64 million deal) and Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman.

Although we have known for two weeks that Turner and Jansen have both re-signed with the Dodgers, the latter was officially (and finally) announced on Tuesday afternoon,

Within minutes of Tuesday’s announcement, SportsNetLA reporter Alanna Rizzo posted on Twitter that the press conference would be carried live on the Dodgers’ regional sports network.

Details of Wednesday’s press conference will follow here on ThinkBlueLA.
