Procrastinators be warned – Pantone 294 San Diego trip nearly sold out

We hear it all the time, especially on social media: “That looks like so much fun. I’m going to do one of those Pantone 294 trips one of these days.”

If you fall into this category, this is your one – and only – warning. The Pantone 294 trip scheduled for Petco Park in San Diego on Saturday, September 2, 2017 is nearly sold out.

“Of the 2,100 tickets we have for this trip there are like 250 left,” said Alex Soto, the genius behind what is arguably the greatest and most well organized fan group in all of baseball.

Soto added that tickets for the San Diego trip are for game-2 of the September 2 doubleheader, the result of a rare rainout at Petco Park back on May 7.

As most Dodger fans know, the Pantone 294 have had several extremely successful and historic road trips to stadiums such as AT&T Park, Chase Field, Yankee Stadium, Wrigley Field and most recently at Marlins Park in Miami immediately following the 2017 All-Star Game.

The highlight of every Pantone 294 road trip is the unveiling of the enormous LA flag which, when asked how they get it into the ballparks, Soto joked “That’s confidential information.” (Photo credit – Ron Cervenka)

The “Pantoneas,” as Soto affectionately calls his group, also organized the round-the-clock voting vigil that unquestionably helped get Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner into the All-Star Game via MLB’s Final Vote.

Tickets for the Pantone 294 September 2, 2017 San Diego road trip can be purchased online through their newly redesigned website at: pantone294.com – but you might not want to wait much longer because this trip will sell out.

You have been warned.
