Dodgers retain all six minor league managers for 2015

The Dodgers have announced that they are bringing back all six of their minor league managers to lead their respective teams for the 2015 season. And though many of the organization’s coaches will also be returning, there are a number of new faces and in some cases new old faces joining or returning to the Dodgers family.

The six returning managers are: Damon Berryhill – Triple-A Oklahoma City Dodgers, Razor Shines – Double-A Tulsa Drillers, P.J. Forbes – Advanced Single-A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, Bill Haselman – Low Single-A Great Lakes Loons, John Shoemaker – Rookie League Ogden Raptors and Jack McDowell – Arizona Rookie League Dodgers.

  1. Bluenose Dodger says:

This is exciting. I like the Spanish speaking coach with each team.

I wonder about some of the movement, especially the Jack McDowell move.

    • Ron Cervenka says:

I do not know McDowell at all and mean no disrespect to him whatsoever, but Shoe is absolutely one of the nicest guys and greatest coaches I have ever met. He’s also been doing this for a very very long time.

      • Bluenose Dodger says:

I just didn’t understand the change of levels and McDowell was quite successful with the Raptors in 2014. I’m thinking Shoemaker is following some of the kids he managed with the AZL Dodgers last year.

        Shoe has been everywhere man.
